2010 Charity Ride Dream Team Challenge

We’re looking forward to another successful Charity Ride Dream Team Challenge in 2010!

Along the route, we challenge community members at every overnight stop on the 16th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America to get involved.*  We encourage you to join forces and raise funds for the chronically ill children served by Victory Junction and other charities.

More than 200 riders will depart from Indian Wells, Calif., on May 1, but there’s fundraising work to be done before the checkered flag drops to make sure the Charity Ride is a success.  We’re asking individuals to form their own Dream Teams to raise money for and awareness of the Charity Ride prior to its arrival in the overnight stops.  We’ll provide all the necessary information; you provide the brainpower to bring in the big bucks for these kids.

Registered Dream Teams will receive ongoing updates prior to the Charity Ride, which will include everything from fundraising ideas to pit stop locations, not to mention Victory Junction success stories to inspire your team along the way.

When the Charity Ride pulls into town, we’ll celebrate the efforts of each Dream Team and recognize the moneymakers.

So jump on the Ride and help us send deserving kids to camp!

How It Works

  • FORM YOUR TEAM:  Anyone’s eligible! No team is too big or too small, and people of all ages are invited to participate.  Gather your nearest and dearest (family, friends, coworkers, whoever!), elect a captain and choose a team name.

  • REGISTER:  Register your team.  Click here to register

  • REVIEW YOUR DREAM TEAM PACK:  We want you to be well-informed about the Charity Ride, so once we’ve received your Dream Team’s registration, we’ll send you a “Dream Team Pack,” complete with background information on Kyle Petty, the 16th Anniversary Ride, Victory Junction and our sponsors.  We’ll also arm you with fundraising tips to get the juices flowing and tools to help you execute your plan.

  • BE CREATIVE:The sky’s the limit.  Come up with a creative way – or ways – to raise funds.  Involve your community and spread the word: The Charity Ride is coming to town!

  • OIN US:   As the Charity Ride approaches, we’ll announce opportunities for Dream Teams to join the Charity Ride at various stops along the route.  You’ll have the chance to celebrate your fundraising success as we acknowledge the hard work and generosity of all Dream Team Challenge participants.

* The Charity Ride Dream Team Challenge will officially take place along the 2010 Kyle Petty Charity Ride route.  Teams in other locations are encouraged to participate in the Challenge.
